some sketch for Ming-Hua.because I feel sad and angry I thought….
Villain failed I can understand…I just can’t accept that character is powerful and likes full of story in the beginning, but failed or dead suddenly in the end.
why ming-hua hasn’t the hands?
why she joined the red Lotus?
I’m so interested in this character, but I would never know about her backstory now.
anyway,book 3 is still good…i just……..*sign*
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..I’m feel so sad…………

i can’t believe we didn’t realize the kuvira foreshadowing before the finale though like it was done so well tbh

they went and put a seemingly “background” character in the a ton of different shots with very minor roles that you wouldn’t think about on first viewing but, in retrospect, with quite a lot of lines for a background character, then slowly and subtly raise her up to doing more noticeable things

like when she suddenly saves the protagonist’s father, gets a close up, and announces her name with some sinister ass music and then asks to come with the group of main characters in the finale of the season, it gets pretty obvious that she is going to be important later, and now nick fucked up again and leaked book 4 clips of her so we KNOW she is gonna be important/possibly evil (and possibly with a connection to zaheer) later

BUT LIKE HOW DID WE NOT PICK UP ON IT BEFORE THE FINALE? LIKE DAMN SHE WAS IN A TON OF SHOTS???

Writing the two-part “Civil Wars” story was very special to me, mainly because of the chance to be able to explore the relationship between Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi. While Korra’s story might have higher stakes, with the threat of tribal war, family struggles are often just as rife with emotional conflict. It was important to us to show how being children of the Avatar wasn’t without its challenges. But to me, this storry was less about Aang’s parenting skills and more about Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi’s issues surrounding their self-worth and issues with one another in regard to their relationships with their father.
